Angel Food Puffs: they have the light, sweet, and fluffy taste of angel food cake with the shape of a cookie and an awesome fruity flavor.
Ingredients
- ½ cup cake flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3 oz. fruit punch jello
- 6 large egg whites, room temperature
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a muffin tin.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and the sugar before setting it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg whites, salt, and extract. Beat until the mixture is frothy, then add the cream of tartar and continue beating until they form glossy peaks.
- Add the jello, then fold in the dry ingredients.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, about halfway, and bake for about 12 minutes or until the cookies appear done.
