I’m airborne, lost but
Able to hold the storm down
But only tonight
As tomorrow comes
I awaken, and wish I slept
For tomorrow rains
But by the next night
I sleep, I feel, I keep it
To hold the storm down
For tomorrow rains
And the day coming from that
And the day after
But not in my sleep
In my sleep I hold it down
and the nights are bright
During every day
The storm could rage, but yet, no
It chooses to rain
Because in my sleep
I hold the storm down at night
So it rains for me
Because it wonders
What I could do whilst awake
And to that end, no
For today rains
and there’s nothing I can do
as I am awake.
