This school year, a new club has come to IHS: the Cooking and Baking Club. The club welcomes anyone interested, whether they’re a seasoned chef or want to learn the difference between a whisk and a spatula. The Cooking and Baking Club was founded by students passionate about bringing students together to learn and share recipes and techniques, celebrate culinary diversity, and most importantly, enjoy delicious delicacies.
Leo Sagan ’25, one of the club’s founders, explains its purpose: “I wanted to create a space where people can be creative in a different way. I’ve always enjoyed cooking, and I wanted to share this passion with other students. This club is about enjoying the process of discovering new flavors.”
Interested students can join the Cooking and Baking club on Tuesdays after school in D12.
