As I settle into this school year with the Tattler Editorial Board, I can’t help but miss the cheerful faces that graced room A106 not so long ago. Our former board members are off on their own adventures, but they have one thing in common: they’re thriving in their new environments. To catch up with these wonderful alumni, I asked them to share a bit about what they’ve been up to since graduation.
Caedmon Sethupathy ’25, Former Editor-in-Chief
Since graduation I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel to Korea, Japan, and Panama with friends and family. I also took a trip to spend some quality time with my grandparents prior to heading to the University of Chicago!

Claire Park ’25, Former Opinion Editor
After graduating, I spent just over a month in South Korea visiting my family. I hadn’t been back since before COVID-19, so I was constantly admiring how tech-savvy and urban Seoul had become: definitely a big shift from the scenic vibes of Ithaca! Since coming home, I’ve started my first semester at Cornell University studying Operations Research and Information Engineering. It’s been a blast so far!

Valentina Lebret ’25, Former Features Editor
I’m currently in France spending a few weeks with my grandparents before heading to Oxford University to study Classics and Arabic.

Natalie Patrone ’25, Former Arts Editor
This summer has been an incredibly long one for me, since my university’s term doesn’t start until the beginning of October. With the extra time, I’ve managed to spend the summer traveling, working, and saying goodbye to high school friends. I had the amazing opportunity to travel to the Netherlands and France with friends at the beginning of this summer, where I tried to visit as many art exhibits and try as much of the local cuisine as physically possible. Since then, I’ve been studying for the upcoming year and packing my bags to leave at the end of September.

Taran Knutson ’25, Former Copy Editor
Only three days after graduation, I was learning about quiver representations and equivariant algebraic topology at PROMYS, a six-week program at Boston University. Soon after that was over, I moved in at the University of Michigan, where I continue to meet droves of lovely, interesting people.

Ruby Zawel ’25, Former Photography Editor
I spent a lot of time outside this summer, which included two backpacking trips, and I’m planning on going on more this year at Colgate. I’m starting a band and I’ve been making music with my friends. I also just got a lab position in the Biology Department, where I get to work with E. coli and nematode worms!

Jennifer Zhao ’25, Former Graphics Editor
I can’t believe it’s already been so long since June! I’ve spent my summer thrifting, frolicking, and building a cool machine with some friends. Now, I’m a couple of weeks into my first semester of college (gag) studying engineering.

Max Lindenberg ’25, Former Webmaster
I’ve been doing search and rescue as an EMT, and enjoying college life! I’m also sailing for Cornell!
