Hello, and welcome to the first iteration of “The Video Store”, a column where I will review movies. Let’s jump in!
Movie Number One: Halloween
Rating: 5/5

In the spirit of the Halloween season, we have Halloween! Released in 1978, this movie is widely considered one of the greatest horror movies of all time, and I agree! The film’s use of shadows and the autumn atmosphere gives an overwhelming sense of dread, even when the horror isn’t happening on screen.
Movie Number Two: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Rating: 4.5/5

The quintessential teen film. Funny, clever, and relatable, this movie is a required viewing for anybody who wants a laugh. The characters are well-written, and you actually care about them.
Well, that wraps up our first edition of “The Video Store.” See you next month for more film reviews!
